Product Improvement

Identified & led the qualification efforts for an easy clean coating for glass with 10x durability improvement & no cost increase. The coating offered the additional competitive differentiation of water spot removal without chemicals – delivering both customer benefit & a sustainability story.

Development Leadership

Drove a New Product Development (NPD) Engineering team’s launch performance improvement from 49% to 90% on‑time over the course of 2 years by bringing clarity to success criteria at the outset of projects (vs. a history of fluidity).

Process Improvement

Spent 50+ hours on the factory floor observing & documenting over 300 press cycles to correlate defects to process variables. Redesign of the SOP resulted in a 20%+ defect reduction.

Cross-sector Adoption

Led effort to adopt & integrate decorative printing & protective coating system to enable mass customization. Once operationalized, the new system delivered greater flexibility, improved quality & performance and delivered a 50% cost savings from prior system.

Process Industrialization

Led efforts to adopt metal, plastic, & composite material additive manufacturing process into the portfolio of manufacturing capabilities. Initial focus was on ultra-low volume customer service parts & initial production for new products. Once operationalized the cell produced 10,000+ parts/year improving customer service & eliminating the need to stock high MOQ parts with negligible demand.
